Location:
Färnebofjärden National park, located in south-west of Gävle, is not just about old woodlands and big rapids, it is also about a diverse collection of wildlife and many different plants and tree specimens including old Oak trees.
For photography, the place offers many opportunities for different compositions, different motives and a it is truly a photographers playground
Workshop’s plan:
This is a 2 days landscape photography workshop with the focus on personal and photography development and re-connection to the nature.
DAY 1
We will meet at the agreed pick up point around 9 AM and will drive to the national park. After a brief introduction, We will start the day by photographing the beautiful old oaks next to the rivers at the entrance. We will make our way up to the center of the park to have a lunch break.
Then we will check in at our hotel. In the afternoon we will be around the center of the park for some sunset photos.
After sunset session, we will return to the hotel for dinner followed by postprocessing session. Here you will have a chance to get some indepth reviews on your photos.
DAY 2
Depends on the weather conditions and hopefully some morning fog, we will visite one of the best marchlands around the park. Then we will back to hotel for breakfast, another postprocessing session and then we will check out and continue shooting in a simillar way as the first day. After sunset, we will
will drive back to the pick up point
After the ture has been carried out, we will meet agin online, when you can have chance to receive review on 3 of your best images of the trip by me and Julien.

Safety and difficulty:
This is an easy trip, No hiking involved. We recommend wearing hiking boots or rubber boots, as we walk around water a little bit.
You and only you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your equipments.

All ground transport from and to the pick up point. (Pick up from Uppsala is possible with prior agreement)
Instructions by 2 experienced photography guides
Accommodation in twin rooms with separate beds (single room at a surcharge)
Breakfast on the second day
Visiting the best locations in the national park for both possible morning fog and sunset and everything in between.
Post processing session during the tour
A zoom call after the tour to review your best photos of the trip

A standard zoom lens (24-70mm) This will be your main lens if you want to bring only one.
Tripod (highly recommended)

By attending this workshop, you agree to hold Hamed Bank harmless for all personal injury or loss that may occur during or in connection with this trip. This is a self-led travel trip. As a customer, you are responsible for your own equipment that you have brought to a workshop or course. You are also responsible for arriving on time to pre-agreed pick up points and other meeting times. Hamed Bank is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your equipment. This also applies to other personal property that you bring to the course or workshop.
For some destinations, a valid passport and any visas and Covid Pass etc, may be required. Always make sure you have valid documents on hand as well as the documents required for entry. For example, several countries require your passport to have more than 180 days of validity remaining in order to be accepted.
For the trip, the general terms and conditions drawn up by the Swedish Travel Agency and Organizers Association and the special terms and conditions of the organizer, which are stated below, apply.

The organizer charges a registration fee of 20% of the trip price. The registration fee must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining part of the trip price must be paid against the invoice no later than one month before departure. The invoice must be paid no later than ten days after received. When booking a trip close to departure, the entire price of the trip must be paid in connection with the registration.

The cost of this photo tour includes your guiding fees, 1 night lodging and transportation (all prices in Euro and including VAT). To reserve your spot, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required. The rest of the payment is due 30 days prior to the workshop. In case of cancellation within 30 days prior to the trip, all payments except of the deposit will be refunded.

For each trip, a minimum number of people are required for the trip to be completed. The minimum number appears in the travel description for each trip. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the trip if the minimum number is not reached. Travelers who have booked a trip have the right to a refund of what was paid for the trip. The organizer is not responsible for any purchases made by the traveler in connection with the trip, e.g. Booked flight tickets. Travelers are therefore advised to always book a cancellable flight ticket or cancellation protection.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the trip, if the trip cannot be completed due to another reason beyond the organizer's control, e.g. acute illness of tour leader/guide. Travelers who have booked a trip have the right to a refund of what has been paid. The organizer arranges photography trips, which means that trips usually include hiking in different types of land and environments. The traveler is responsible for ensuring that he/she is in good condition and health so that he/she can participate in the various stages of the trip.
Meet your guide
Hamed is a skilled photographer with over 10 years of experience in the field of landscape photography and 20+ years as visual effects artist.
He knows the location very well and has been photographing this area many times in different seasons.
If you fancy learning and leveling up your photography, especially Autumnal woodland photography with some rapids rushing into the scene, you are on a right page.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
Julien is a self-made landscape photographer with a great sense of adventure. He has always been fascinated by the untouched, vast landscapes of Scandinavia. His love for Scandinavia led him to decide to move to Sweden in early 2020 and pursue his passion for photography.
Since then, he has been exploring the most remote regions of Northern Europe with his camera, always looking for fascinating and inspiring photo subjects. Julien loves sharing his passion for Scandinavia and photography with others, teaches landscape photography at some of the most inspiring destinations and offers photo walks in Stockholm.
